Sugar and Snow Gelato
Amy discovered gelato as a young teenager, when the U.S. Navy transferred her Dad, and thus the whole family, to Gaeta, Italy for an overseas tour. She spent those formative years collecting allowance in Lira and spending it on gelato. Those happy memories of taste testing gelato all over Italy eventually inspired Amy to attend the Baking and Pastry Program at Johnson & Wales University, and then to jobs at bakery/gelato shops. In 2013, she started Sugar & Snow to bring handmade gelato to the people of Asheville.
